About me · No resume, promise
Things you can stand in front of.
I've spent twenty-odd years making software, and the pieces I love aren't really apps at all — they're places. A two-storey wall of screens where kids poke at real science. A coral reef sorted by thousands of strangers' eyes. Quiet instruments deep under Queensland, watching the air so other people can think about everything else. By day it's engineering; the rest of the time it's closer to folding paper — visual experiments, small worlds, pages like this one.

Walls of light
At QUT I helped build The Cube — storeys of touchscreens where floods, reefs and cities become something you can walk up to and play with.

02
Air, watched
These days I look after software that listens to the air beneath coal mines — the quiet kind of useful, where the best outcome is an ordinary day.

Paper & pixels
The other side of the desk: folded worlds, little films, generative experiments. This page — film and all — is one of them.
